Xphase Pro S2 is the newest version of XPhase Pro S

XPhase Pro S2 is the newest version of XPhase Pro S (reviewed here).  Here are the new features.

XPhase Pro S2 looks almost identical to the XPhase Pro S but has some new features:

1. S2 has all-metal mounting brackets for its lenses to improve heat dissipation.

2. S2 has a shorter 15-second interval time lapse mode.  The previous XPhase Pro S’ shortest interval was 30 seconds.

3. S2 uses a metal structure that is more stable, which XPhase says will have less need for camera calibration.

XPhase Pro S2 is $979, a $100 increase over the $879 XPhase Pro S, which appears to have been discontinued.
